What does the real science say about your food?
Truth Nutrition translates peer-reviewed, independently funded nutritional science into plain English — so you can make confident decisions about what you eat, backed by the best available evidence.
Why does this exist?
The public's understanding of nutrition is being actively distorted. Food corporations spread misinformation through advertising, paid influencers, and poorly designed studies engineered to produce commercially convenient results.
The result is that most people — including those who genuinely want to eat well — cannot tell what the real science says about the food they consume every day.
Truth Nutrition exists to close that gap. Every topic on this platform is backed by peer-reviewed research meeting strict quality standards. We only include studies with large enough sample sizes, sufficient duration, and no hidden industry funding.
Where the science is uncertain, we say so clearly. Honest uncertainty is more useful than false confidence.
How it works
Rigorous selection
Every study must meet minimum sample size thresholds, sufficient study duration, peer-reviewed publication, and full funding transparency before it can appear on this platform.
Plain English translation
Dense academic papers are distilled into clear, jargon-free summaries anyone can read. The key findings, limitations, and confidence level are stated upfront.
Full transparency
Every summary links directly to the source paper. The funding behind each study is disclosed. Our own selection methodology is published publicly for anyone to scrutinise.
Evidence ratings used across the platform
Multiple large, independent, long-term studies reaching consistent conclusions.
Good quality studies with some limitations or mixed findings across the literature.
Early-stage research warranting attention but not yet sufficient for firm conclusions.
